Keystone 2009

We're back! And we had a really, really great trip. Did you know that it's cold in Colorado? I guess I have only been in Colorado later in March and let me tell you that when it's 15 degrees and snowing it's cold y'all! We arrived safely, thank you SO much for your prayers, both of our flights were really smooth. I think it helped that Ryan absolutely loved every minute of flying. It was nice to know that our fear of flying has had no effect on this precious little man.

Every time I actually see the snow covered mountains in person it is truly breath-taking. The whole time we were there I was constantly reminded of God's glorious creativity and the complete majesty of the Lord! It was worth the cold just to be daily reminded of that.
This is view from our balcony

Mark and Ryan braving the snow

Here's Ryan at ski school. I was so proud of him that he did it. He was actually skiing! It was not his favorite thing, and he just went one day, but he did a great job. This was by far the coldest day, and I didn't get any really good pictures because the professional mountain photographers were there and I was hoping for an awesome pic. They had cold cameras and did not get one single picture of Ryan! Stinky...Oh well.
On his report card, the instructor said that Ryan had some good runs, but he needed a lot of breaks. Here's one of the breaks:-).

The red-faced Woods...did I mention that it was cold?

This is my favorite picture because Ryan took it! Isn't it great how he angled the shot!?!

Playing on the mini-golf course that was completely covered in snow!

Buffalo man

NFIB really knows how to treat us on these trips. For Mark's award presentation they took us to the very top of the mountain to the Alpenglow Stube restaurant and it was amazing.

I am so proud of you Mark, thank you for another wonderful trip. I am also really thankful to be home in my king sized bed!!!! Another BIG thank you to Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa for watching our sweet Ally girl. She had a wonderful time and didn't seem to miss us one bit:).

Looks cold! Great photo by Ryan - where was he during Mark's presentation? Aren't you glad you left Ally behind? Looks miserable for a sweet little thing. Reminds me of First Woodway ski trips...
