Brady's TWO months!

Our precious baby boy is TWO months old.  I feel like he grows every single night right now.  He wears 6 month clothes and is off the chart in both height and weight:))).  He is such a sweet, easy baby (as long as he's not hungry), and he LOVES to be held and snuggle.  Here are some two month pictures we took last night
Little chunky monkey

Dance Dance Baby

Ally had her third dance recital last weekend and she did GREAT! She is a beautiful ballerina and has some serious tap moves too.  I love every second of being a Dance Mom and was very proud of her.
Mommy and my Ally girl---I love that we have a daughter!

Guess who else was at our recital?  LILA!! I mean come on she's the cutest giraffe ever.

 Thank goodness GP was there to hold Brady while we changed tights and got ready for ballet.  Check out how big he is?? Almost two months now.  Thank you GP for the rose!
 The Warrens were here to see Lila preform, and Ally acts like she has a third set of grandparents---pretty funny!
 Aunt Cary getting some much needed girl time!
 The girls get James Avery charms after each recital.  It is such a fun tradition and Ally loves her new butterfly

Ryan's Award Ceremony---proud momma post!

 Ryan is an official 3rd grader!! I sometimes look at this year and it seems to have flown by...but then I see a pregnant pic of myself and remember that each day seemed like a month!!! So weird but the old adage is true the days are long but the years fly by!
Here's my 2nd grader in his last week of school

Ryan ran 43.25 miles this year in PE.  Can you believe that?? I think I ran .25 miles this year :)

 Then it was the 2nd grade awards delivered by Mrs. Wallace.
He received these awards...

 All A Honor Roll, and the Spelling Bee Champ---oh yea!!!
It is such a gift to have Honey as the Principal.  I love that.
 And that Grandma is here in town too and gets to see all of RW's accomplishments this year.
I don't think that words can express just how much we adore Mrs. Wallace.  Ryan is a better person because of this amazing, caring, Christian teacher.  Thank you for loving our Ryan all year (and for forgiving me when I forgot numerous things this year...prego brain in full effect)
 Ryan Wood---HOW can you be a third grader?? I am in some sort of denial here I think.  You are an amazing young man and I am honored to be your mother.  Thank you for given me grace this year and for being an AWESOME kid! Love you SOOOO much.

 (Sorry Brady boy that we cut you out of our family photo-HA!)

Texas Ranger baseball with a side of more baseball

 Whoa Nellie did we log some hours at Broughton Fields this spring! My boys love them some baseball and this year was no different.  The big change this season was that we had a baby born in April...so I nursed a LOT in the car at the fields and watched my baby boy strike 'em out from the car!! Here are my Texas Rangers
And the newest Ranger fan {at 5 days old!!!!}

 {and at 2 weeks}
 Ryan LOVED the fact that kids pitch this year and he could bring the heat!!

He also had an amazing batting average.  I love watching him smack the ball.

 Our Ranger Team
 Note the Lego Chain sported in this picture...again I had a one week old :)
 Ryan was so sad that his little league season was over that he BEGGED me to let him join the Waco Rebel Select Team.  He had been playing with this team on Sunday afternoons just for fun and he and Mark loved that they are such a competitive group of eight year olds.  Mark became an assistant coach and they decided to make this rag-tag Sunday group a select team of 8 year olds.  I of course said no because-----he's EIGHT!!!, and remember that we have a newborn :). But...after seeing the joy they both had after these Sunday scrimmages I reluctantly agreed and they joined the team.   Their first "official scrimmage" was Memorial Day weekend.  I decided to join my family at the lakehouse and left these two baseball fanatics at home.  On Monday afternoon I got a phone call from Mark that Ryan was hit in the face by a hard-hit ball to short and they were on their way to the ER!! Geez-Loiuse that is not a great phone call to get while driving back to Waco.
Here's my tough little man
 Fortunately nothing was broken and he just had a 'cool' black eye for about a week.  I must admit that this Waco Rebel Team is really fun to watch.  They got very official uniforms and played in their first tournament this past weekend.  Number NINE was Killin' the ball!!

 mom...seriously...
 Ryan plays short on this team and is learning a lot about defense
 This was the picture that almost got me thrown out of the game.  Apparently I just thought my flash was off...WHOOPS!!! That ump was fired up.
 Another double for my little man
 I am so thankful that Mark and Ryan both share their love of baseball.
GOOOOOO REBELS!!  We'll be watching them play throughout the month of June.
