Halloween 2013

I cannot believe it's already November.  Halloween is always a super crazy week and this year was the same.  By the end of the night we are all wiped out but we have a great time at our church and trick-or-treating with the Weavers.

I assumed Brady would be a puppy this year, but he was NOT having it.  He looks exactly like Ryan here.
Ahhhh much better Mommy:).  Little Seastuck it is
 Super easy costumes this year
Brady wasn't having the 'eye black' either, little stinker
My pretty cheerleader loves her some bugs.  Here she is holding a gross snail at Grandma's house.
Bray's walking!! yay and oh no.  He's on the go everywhere!
 First stop Grandma's house
Then to Honey and GP's for pizza and cousin pictures.  Kacey adding a little makeup to her beautiful butterflies
Ryan helping Brady...XO
 Big boy
 Adorable Caterpillar
Crazy Cousin Picture.  This year was the easiest yet!
And then we headed to the Fall Fest.  Love my family even though the ALL love Baylor.
Brady had a blast in the preschool area

Brady was done after church but Mark took the kids to a few houses in our neighborhood with the Weavers----love that tradition
 Big kids
Halloween 2013 in the books.  Peace out

Ryan's first Orchestra Concert

I was thrilled when WCS announced they were starting Orchestra this year.  Music is such a huge part of my life and I couldn't wait for Ryan to experience learning an instrument reading music.  I was fully prepared for him to hate it but what happened this year is AWESOME! Ryan enjoys playing the bass.  Let that soak in for a minute.  Ryan not only plays an instrument, he LIKES it! Something other than Sports.  It has been a huge blessing for us this year to see him take on this challenge.  Mark and I are so proud of him and love hearing him practice.  Oh and the bass is enormous, and we are on our third one this year already. sigh.
For their concerts they must wear "concert dress".  I loved seeing him in this...
Ryan-not so much
This is my favorite picture.  Look at my handsome kid, playing the B-A-S-S!
 Orchestra 1 class
The 4th graders at the reception.  Happy kids :).
Bursting with pride here
My parents were also thrilled for him since they are both musicians as well.
Praise the Lord that Grandma was there because Brady at a concert=not a good idea.  Thank you Norma for saving the day.
I think he had 3 cookies
 younger siblings
My sweet friend Ashley Farmer and her family.  I love this girl to pieces.  She is battling breast cancer right now and has a very positive attitude.  The light of the Lord shines bright through her.
 Dad and RW
 Honey and her Wood boys
brothers.  love that we have brothers
Way to go Ryan, so proud of you!

Playgroup

These ladies are the real deal.  We meet every other Wednesday at someone's house and over coffee and/or Dr. Pepper we figure out this parenting gig.  It is incredibly valuable time and I always enjoy spending my Wednesday mornings with this crew.  As a stay at home mom, it can be isolating if you let it so the fellowship, laughs and accountability really blesses me.  Love my girlies!
And since I have never taken one single picture over the last T-E-N years of this group I busted out my camera on a random Wed. at my house.  Wait....10 YEARS??? I have been doing this a decade?? Lord thank you for this gift! When I was teaching and working part-time we would met during the summer.  The format, meeting days and members have shifted over the years, (we miss Kelli, Ann, Kristiana and Erica!) but this group has been a constant in my life.  When Katy moved to Waco she was automatically a member, and the same for my sisters.  Having authentic girlfriends can change your life.  Thank you playgroup girls for your friendship---it is a treasure.   Playgroup, hence the name, :) is also a time for our kiddos to play.  My mornings stared with baby Ryan then Ally and now Brady boy.  Between all the members past and present we have 26 KIDDOS between us.  That overwhelms me.  Thank you Lord for your blessing us all with children.

Sweet, hilarious, smart, stubborn Brady is always into something
 Clark, Katy and Mary Claire
Caroline, Kacey and James Wright ( I always ask where Lila is this year...big girl's in 4 day preschool!)
 Julia and Lauren
  Crew, Caryn and Coyt
 and me and my Brady
It's always loud and crazy but I wouldn't have it any other way!
