Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you have the best Thanksgiving ever today! I am so thankful for ALL of the blessings in my life. I know that every good and perfect gift comes from the Lord, and those gifts are evident in my life. I am beyond thankful for my beautiful children, my caring husband, my understanding and loving family, and my amazing friends.

A thankful story:
The other night I was watching TV while Mark was tucking Ryan in bed. Each night Ryan chooses a bible story to read out of his children's bible. But on this night I heard the sweetest sound ever. Ryan was reading his favorite bible story to Mark! It's from Daniel 3 and its the story of King Nebuchadnezzar and Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego. They refused to worship the idol so the King had them thrown into the fiery furnace. The really cool thing is that they did not burn at all-in fact they didn't even smell like smoke! Ryan read the entire story, and I just couldn't help but tear up knowing that my 5 year old son was reading God's word to his dad. When Mark came out of is room we just were beaming with thankfulness. To see your child start to walk in the truth...there really is nothing like that. I never really knew that my life would end up like this. That I would be married to a really strong christian man, and that I would have the opportunity to raise my children like I was raised. My life is really a gift of God's grace. I am a true testimony of my parents getting down on their hands and knees and praying for protection for their wayward child. Thank you mom and dad for never giving up on me...I bet it is really cool to see your GRAND KIDS walking in the truth! Much love:)
