I was sitting in my chair drinking my coffee Saturday morning and this is what I saw...All three of my precious family members coloring a picture together. I LOVE seeing them work together on anything. Can't you feel the love?!

The Minnesota Twins are really good!
We had some very rowdy fans for the first game but Ryan loved that all his Purdy cousins were here to cheer him on.
This is a dangerous but awfully cute 4-pack
Sistas
Honey and her grandbabies
Grandma and Grandpa. Norma and Jim have spent many, many hours out on these very same ball fields watching Mark play baseball. I really love that He gets to play on the same fields that we all played on growing up. (That's right...I played softball here too:-))
Ryan's first at bat
And he hit a AWESOME line drive!
Props from dad
Ally runs and runs and runs a the games. This picture cracks me up because it gives you a really good glimpse of a typical game. Mark helping coach, Jim and GP watching from the cheap seats, Ally running, and Lila trying her best to keep up. Ahhh, such fun memories.
Ally "helping" Lila
Way to go #5
We are all very proud of you this year. Ally loves wearing her game shirt and hat just like her brother Ryan. She adores him.
The 'Good Game' lineup and hand clap. Wouldn't life be great if after each day we all gave each other a 'good game' hand clap? I think so.
Ryan I love watching you grow and learn new things. Thanks for always trying your best and being respectful of the other players and coaches. You are doing a great job!
Go TWINS!

Oh how the sweetness never ends
The Lord knew I needed Miss Ally Anderson Wood in my life. She is far from perfect, but she is about the sweetest thing ever! The other day she was checking the mail with Mark and immediately said, "Momma you have to come outside!" "Just LOOK at this."
When I went outside I saw what she was pointing at and I was also very excited.
The roses are blooming! Amazing how such a little flower can bring a smile to my face.
Ally is such a joyful, expressive and thoughtful little girl. She is almost always happy and has such a tender little heart. She tries her hardest to keep up with the boys in our house and has a blast trying:-). She is a girlie girl and loves all things princess, dress up, make-up, etc...so I was thrilled to introduce braids to her.

Easter continued :-)
The odd thing about morning time at the Wood house, is that the mornings I need the kids to wake up early they inevitably sleep late. This phenomena continued on Easter morning. This little princess woke up before her brother and she patiently waited until Ryan got up to see her Easter basket.
Sleepy head finally woke up and discovered a new LEGO. He puts these together in record time!
Then it was off to church. The kids got to sit in "big church" with us this year which was a treat! After church Ally asked me if she could go to little church now. She's So sweet!
Ally and Lila were matching and somehow Kacey and I coordinated with them. We honsetly couldn't have done this if we tried. We attempted to get a group picture but the girls weren't having it.
And GP and the kids
Easter is such a wonderful day. Every year we read the children's book, The Best Thing About Easter and although Easter eggs, springtime, chocolate bunnies, furry bunnies and fuzzy baby ducks, new clothes and church are all great, the best thing about Easter is Jesus! We only have Easter because of Jesus. It was all part of God's amazing plan.
I love my children with all the love I have in my heart and that doesn't even touch the love that Christ has for us. We love because He first loved us. Thank you Lord for sacrificing your only son so that I may have eternal life with you. The forgiveness and grace I feel everyday as I stumble around and make mistakes is almost too much to process.
This is what love is: God loved us and sent His Son 1 John 4:10
He is risen! He is risen indeed!!!

Egg-cellent Easter Party
Over Easter my sisters and I threw a Good Friday Egg Hunt at Honey and GP's house. We had a fantastic time and I'm pretty sure this will be an annual event. So, next year if you're in the vicinity come on by. We are SO blessed that our parents love to entertain and are willing to let 30 kids run around crazy in their home and backyard. A big thank you to Honey and GP for being so awesome!

A little Bunny Hop action
The guests (click on picture to enlarge and get a good laugh at the screaming kids, or maybe the biggest eye roll yet from RW!)
Thank the LORD for aunt Kacey and her no fear approach to dying Easter Eggs in white pants! Seriously, I am really thankful she did this, the kids loved it.
The goods
GP the grillin' machine. Thanks again dad for all your hard work.
Lunch!
We are really blessed to have such great friends and parents who instilled a love of a good party in us. We had an Egg-cellent time!

FWCS Easter party
For Easter they made their very own Resurrection Eggs as a class. It has been so sweet to hear Ryan explain the Easter story to us using these eggs. Another reason I LOVE FWCS!
Then it was off to hunt some eggs.
Ryan was way too fast for me to get any action shots of him this year. Running in PE everyday has made him super fast.
An attempt at a boy photo. Thank you Vancen and Khi for stopping and smiling for Mrs. Wood. Maybe this skill will one day rub off on RW.
Comparing eggs
After the hunt they all got some very yummy treats.
It was a perfect Easter Party. I am amazed that Mrs. Sims does this every day!
Dear Mrs. Sims,
Thank you for teaching Ryan to love the Lord, to be respectful, to love to read the Bible, to discover new facts, that he doesn't know everything:-), to speak kindly to others, Addition and subtraction, to not talk while you're talking, to wait his turn, to try to not monitor everyone's hand washing needs all the time, and to let you finish the question before he blurts out the answer. These are just a few of the amazing things you have taught our son. Thank you for all your hard work each and every day and for your absolute joy of teaching!
We love you!
